Maevyin

Maevyin believes herself something of an ugly duckling in reverse. While she was incredibly social as a hatchling, she has become reclusive and even guarded since them, oversensitive to even the possibility of an insult. Once she has warmed up to another dragon, her demeanor is calm, with a dry sense of humor, but until then she responds with defensive hostility to almost any interaction. She feels out of place among a clan with no other plague dragons, adding to her cornered, victimized mentality. Still, she's a valued member of the clan, and is worth befriending- if you can tolerate all the snippiness at first.
Maevyin's mushroom grows in the back of one of Ananya's abandoned tunnels, where the soil is dark and damp. She calls him Gramps, and he mostly just glares at her and... is a mushroom. Regardless, she spends rather a lot of time in that tunnel, sulking.If Gramps were more talkative, he would probably say something like "Mopey kid, you'll grow out of this one day- hopefully tomorrow! Shut up!"
