- 선 다사다난, 후 알콩달콩

난 기다릴 틈도 없었어.
넌 내가 어렸을 때부터 옆에 있었지. 때문에 그게 당연한 줄 알고 너와 떨어진다는 걸 상상조차 못했어.
그래서 신이 살짝 도와줬나봐. 당연한 배려가 새삼 수줍고 간질간질하게 느껴졌으니.
너만의 짝이라는 사실이, 아무것도 모르는 해츨링의 투명한 마음을 녹여버리고 새로운 감정을 깨닫게 만들었어.

드디어 네 알을 품을 수 있는 날이 찾아와 함께 둥지 안으로 들어갔을 때, 난 오직 너만 보였어.


난 사실 오래 기다렸어.
나는 레어에 너무 쉽게 정착했었지. 때문에 널 찾는 것마저 아주 우습게 보고 말았던거야.
그래서 신이 벌을 내렸었나봐. 널 찾기까지 지루하고 힘겨운 시간을 너무 오래 보냈어.
나만의 짝을 찾겠다는 꿈도, 찾으면 절대 옆에서 놓지 않겠다는 바람도 심해 저 깊은 곳으로 흘려보낼 뻔했지.

결국 희망의 끈을 놓으려고 독하게 마음먹으려던 순간이 와서야, 난 겨우 네가 보였어.
