Fire widened his eyes at the sight of a shining Coatl couple flying down. Trailing after them was a younger orange Coatl with starmap patterns and constellation wings, adorned in amber and a monocle. All three of them flew in the day sky as radiant as several new suns. Their son seemed healthy, and so did the couple. The last time Fire saw that couple was when they had survived Luminax in their former city, albeit covered in dirt and scratches.

Dune is the son of a couple who had survived Luminax's fury in the latter's former city, which Fire came from. Instead of coming with Fire in search of a new home, they had went a separate path on their own terms. It was not until the Clan of Many Suns's founding when they became interested in Fire's whereabouts.

Upon finding out Fire had a new home and even started the Slayer School, the two were excited to send their child there for the experience. Dune enrolled in the Slayer School as the Opal Group's Light dragon.

Dune is one of the more kind and extroverted students at the school, and the more "everyday" student at that. Nothing fishy goes on with him and he's not looking for fame. He's just a breath of fresh air surrounded by the more eccentric -- and sometimes tragic and/or famous -- students. He is often seen around Macaw.
