There is a tricky gleam in this Dragon's eye that makes you hold onto your wallet that much tighter. He catches your gaze and lazily winks before dissapearing into a crowd of dragons, leaving you wondering if he was even there at all...

Upon later inquiry to a certain gossipy spiral on the matter of the strange dragon, you learn that you were not in fact seeing things. Apparently this dragon appeared while the clan was just starting up and decided to stick around cause he thought it might be fun. The spiral then goes on to tell you the only reason Basalt hasen't left for more interesting places yet is because he's sweet on the clan's medic, Nayomi.

Nayomi and Basalt met after a pirating accident left Basalt with a badly broken wing, he fell for her hard during his stay in the clinic, and even after he'd healed he would find any excuse to return to the clinic to see her. This was not the first time Nayomi had delt with a bestot dragon using this tactic, and she caught onto his act quickly. After weeks of this round about flirting Nayomi asked him out properly and Basalt delightedly agreed. They have been together for quite awhile now, though they have hit some rough patches, mostly involving Basalt's involvement in the criminal underworld.
