- An exchange student from the Sundial Terrace. Studying anthropology (dracopology?).
- Third-generation aether. Mori's grandparents were on the Astrolab and moved to the Sunbeam Ruins during the first wave of the aether diaspora. Part of the reason she chose to visit the Starfall Isles was to learn more about her ancestors' native region.
- It's taboo to work at night in many parts of Light territory. Arcane has no such taboo, so about half of the population is nocturnal. The Tourmaline Archives and Observatory are open 24/7, and late-night businesses (restaurants, stores, daycares, notaries...) are common across the Isles. Mori's sleep schedule is in shambles.
- She appreciates how friendly the locals are, though, and how sharing knowledge with other dragons is ingrained in both Light and Arcane culture.
