Academic Astronomer - She/Her
Most discribe Atalanta in two ways:
One, is that she is a perfect combination of her parents. Exuding her mother's stoic pride and fiercely protective nature, holding herself as a member of academia to a very high standard. As well as her father's eye for value and silver tongue. Rarely putting it into use however, lacking the extroverted confidence her father seems to ooze, she mainly uses it to get herself better bargains on various texts and tools.
Two is that, well, the dragon in question knows nothing about her. Something that Atalanta makes sure of for a reason.
She keeps herself away from the bustling life of Gundrava. Instead she took after her mother, taking residence in a tall tower just outside of the towns edges. Hunkering down and forming something of her own lair (and similarly cluttered as her moms own residence). Claiming to anyone that asked that it was to further her research of the the arcanists stars without hinderance. Which was partially true, the towers height and distance from the light that Gundrava emitted gave her a breathtaking view of the magic infused stars.
But, it was also to avoid the more social side of Gundrava's populations. Growing up she found that even short conversations made her mane bristle, and her scales feel every-so itchy. So a slightly haunted looking wizard's tower was, by far, the best defense against curious wanders.
The only dragon she every cared to allow in was the one of the small Aether siblings, Lantern. Similar to her he was a astronomer- though only a novice. After hearing tell of the "great and wise astronomer daughter of the also great and wise Sagittarius" that lived in the black stone castle, the small Aether mustered enough courage to knock on her door.
It was... certainly a scene, a naturally large imperial with a deep scowl permanently etched on her face standing in front of an small (even for his kind) aether who stood shaking like a leaf. Clearly regretting every action that had brought him up to that point in life. Unaware that she was also just as uncomfortable, and stared at him to hopefully make him go away. They would've if Atalanta didn't see a very large, and very rare, book tucked under their back set of arms. Promptly causing her to break out in a giddy- almost kiddish smile as she asked Lantern about it. From there? Well, it's a history of two like minded dragons and about a millenia's worth of mutual info dumping that formed a incredibly strong bond between the two.
