If there is one thing that matters the most to Alexandrite, it's the safe delivery of her letters and notes. A close second is anything that's the color pink. It is unknown where her love of delivery came from and her clanmates will occasionally joke that she was a courier dragon in a past life. Naturally, she took on the job of extending invitations for clan alliances as well as delivering notes to the parents of clanmates who originated outside of the Southern Icefield.

Being a Skydancer rather than a courier dragon means that Alexandrite's job is occasionally hazardous. In an attempt to combat this, she dresses herself rather ostentatiously and has had varying degrees of success. Very few times has she experienced open hostility after being shot down and explaining her intentions. She has not yet had to face the possibility of being held hostage, but she has been training to become stronger as of late and is one of the few dragons who has managed to gain Flourite's friendship (or want it, for that matter). As a result, she is always stocked with medicine to cure that which magic can't, as well as several other things to make long journeys less hazardous.
