In some regions, a story about a mournful statue is sometimes told. It is said that a young dragon waited for her dear friend to return on the night of a crescent moon unaware they had been lost to a storm. She never left her sorrowful watch even after being informed. On the night of the next crescent moon, a statue was found in her place. Later, a ritual formed around offering flowers to her in the hopes of safe travel. Some consider it good luck to offer gold or gems to her as well, however it is not uncommon for these offerings to be stolen.
