He was badly hurt by the emperor, but managed to escape it, the shadow-walkers found him crawled into a cave, bleeding all over the place. They called for help immediately, a coatl flying high up to call for the Healers. They tried their best to mend his wounds but the bleeding was too fast and the Healer's magic worked slow, Ophanim tried his best as well but his magic was spent from the recent emperor fight. Without further help he would have been a goner. A decision had to be made, without his consent. He was rushed to Chromedome, a rather crazed android maker, a scientist with a sprinkle of madness. He helped him, augmenting his body and fixing it with metal parts and mechanisms. He was alive but at the cost of losing a part of his humanity. He was confused when he woke up, the partial confusion lasting for days. When he came to and realised what happened he wasn't happy to say the least, lashing at Chromedome who was intrigued trying to explain the situation. With his giggles and smiles hiding from behind his table trying to dodge the flying equipment he didn't come very far. With the racket so loud yin came out, knowing what was happening before they even opened the door. With their strong power just a hand on the dragons remaining shoulder caused him to calm down, a long talk following.

To this day he has hate for Chromedome who follows him a bit too much constantly checking his "creations". He's happy to stay in Lume however. All the dragons are nice to him even the odd ones. he has found a way with his machinery, Ophanim says he shouldn't attack with anger but he finds it a nice fuel to his attacks, capable of landing hits and bites stronger than any other fighter.
