The lone wolf doctor who has been single-mindedly researching a cure for Beading, a non-contagious disease linked to the Slime gene that causes occasional painful bubble-like spots to appear on the dragon's skin. As the leading researcher in this topic, he lives on the border of the clan's territory in order to discretely welcome study subjects without going through the proper visitation paperwork. Paint is very aware that he is doing this, but trusts the doctor not to abuse the priviledge.

He is heavily disliked within the healer's community for being avant-garde with his treatments and dismissive toward the Healer's Council for their actions and, in his eyes, corruption. His best friend Yin often runs subterfuge for him in order to allow him to continue his (unapproved) research on Beading. He dislikes this, as he does not enjoy Yin putting himself in the line of fire, but appreciates the help.

History:
During his late years studying at Dust Basin Academy and earning his degree, he began to develop Beading and thus focused his initial research on its cure.
