Mirabeau Rascasse, scourge of the nobility. Born Mirabeau de Lune of the noble de Lune family in Lunuus Jin, she was said to be exiled to Soleius for practicing the forbidden art of necromancy. She contends that she did try a necromancy, once, but since she was going to be exiled either way, she might as well take her accusers down with her by literally resurrecting them as an undead army.

Having to ply her illegal trade as a mercenary, she found herself in the middle of Helianthus di Soleius' succession conflict against his brother Astera, which is where she is said to have met the future queen Roseus, Jangmi, who was serving as Helianthus' attendant girl at the time.

They don't get along well, but after Helianthus's passing, Mirabeau has invited herself as a frequent visitor to the Queen's chambers. The servants pray for the queen's unending patience in dealing with the rogue warlock.
