Bombastine
The Envy

Bombastine, known as the Envious Muse, stands as the vigilant guardian of the Corgi, plagued by overwhelming envy. Despite his flamboyant persona and talent as an actor and playwright, Bombastine's insatiable desire for recognition and resentment towards others hinder his ability to love himself. He nurtures deep bitterness towards Luscinia, the one favored more by the Corgi, although he publicly denies his affection for her. Yet in the solitude of his hidden emotions, he weeps and confesses his genuine love. Bombastine's all-consuming envy compels him to relentlessly pursue power and validation, oblivious to the shared struggles of self-doubt faced by others. Ultimately, his refusal to accept himself leads to his own demise as he becomes consumed by the very Envy he harbored for the Corgi's position.

LORE
Bombastine, the Envious Muse, also guards the Corgi. He is trapped in overwhelming envy. On the surface, he's this super charismatic actor and playwright, captivating everyone with his performances. But deep down, he's battling this storm of pride and jealousy.

Bombastine gets all this attention and envy from burritos, but it's never enough. Every success just feels like a temporary fix before the envy creeps back in. He looks at others and sees what he thinks are their better lives, loves, and positions, and it eats him up inside.

There's this burrito, Luscinia, who Bombastine both desires and resents because the Corgi favors her. He pretends he doesn't care about her, but in reality, he's secretly in love with her and it tears him apart.

His envy drives him to chase power and validation, thinking it'll fill the void inside. But he doesn't realize that everyone struggles with their own stuff. As he gets more consumed by envy, it ends up destroying him.

Despite his talent and popularity, Bombastine's inability to accept himself traps him in this envy. His story is a warning about how seeking validation from outside and coveting what others have can blind you to your own worth. Only by loving yourself and finding contentment within can you break free from envy's grip and truly be happy.

Bombastine's skin matches perfectly with his familiar and with the background. I love how the swirls on the tertiary gene matches the coral branches in the scene. It's sad how he is full of bad emotions, with envy and such, his appearance is actually quite cheerful. Tell him I'm proud of him lol
