Phantasma

Phantasma is a young yet mysterious Veilspun. She is a good friend of Kapro, the gloomy Wildclaw, and his mate Hades, the silent Coatl. She mainly sits on Kapro's shoulder. But, after learning about what happened to his family, and that Kapro didn't go with his friends, she encouraged him to make a new leg for himself and go join them. Their journey was slow, since the rest of the group was already miles away.

She watched her best friend accept his fate once he found his friends. They were trying to fight the vicious Wildclaws that had slaughtered his family. Few of the original pack members remained. There was not a single living hatchling or egg in sight. She recognized two of the Fandragons that fought with them- and one of them had a Wildclaw counterpart as well.

She didn't recognize the blue, green, or white Fandragons, however. The white one immediately stopped fighting when he saw Kapro. Phantasma was asked to get off Kapro's shoulder. She stayed with Xueshan, another one of Kapro's friends. She watched as Kapro fought, shattering his cleaver and using the sharp pieces as projectiles. The odd white Wildclaw easily dodged him, though. Her friend did manage to land a strong blow to the Wildclaw's neck, but he easily recovered.

Before she could cry out to help, the Wildclaw had his jaws around Kapro's neck, blood spilling everywhere. The only thing she could do was watch as her friend started to decay right before her eyes.

Phantasma sat and watched her friend die. Suddenly, she looked up and saw the odd green Wildclaw. He smelled of rot. This was the one that slaughtered hatchlings. She froze with fear, hoping that the Wildclaw would ignore her. But sadly, this was not the case. It swiftly bent down and grabbed her with it's jaws, swallowing her whole.
