The newest member of the Council of Nox against the wishes of Hayate and Cigna, who consider him a simple concubine for Tiamat. His musical skill and charm allowed him to worm his way alongside their quiet leader in their eyes.

Tiamat, however, saw him for what he was: an occult savant, a confidence man, a benefit to the council in his unassuming goofy demeanor, and a worthy sire for her brood. Mephisto does not mind the opinions of the council -- his integration into the powerful leading couple as an equal member softens their criticism.
