something you didn't even realize was there buzzes to life, startling those present. static echoes in the room amongst layers of silence.

"can you.. hear me?"

runes fill the room, and a piece of technology manifests against the wall. the static is back. tensions are high.

do you answer the voice? do you inspect the gadget? the clock is ticking, and the choice is yours.

The object crackles to life again, and the voice, albeit the same as the one who'd asked, is speaking in tongues.

The weird piece of machinery sparks, and the buzzing stops. To the untrained eye, you think the device may have died rather suddenly.

"... My apologies. It seems my telepathical radio is yet to be improved. Ahem. Who am I speaking to?"

They were cut off by the one with many books and papers speaking up “Hello, My names Sparrow, I’m the librarian here, and the mage is partner Hyper, we’re from the Library of Selene, it’s nice to meet you.”

“…I could have introduced myself-“ The arcane mage spoke up
“I know you could love, apologies for cutting you off” The librarian spoke softly to the mage

The radio that Veno had spawned quickly crackles, and fizzles out, leaving only glitter behind. In its place, a familiar.

The frog hops to action nearly immediately, propping itself up where the radio had previously spawned. "Hello! Veno-riit is in a lot of trouble-riit; so that's why we're contacting you-riiiit!"

It croaks mid sentence, glancing up at the two dragons.

"Please, riiiit. The Arcadia has sunk completely below the swamp in the Worldedge Wetlands, riiiit. We have to save as much Digitex Industries technology as possible..."

Sparrow turned and looked at Hyper, both of them seemingly having a conversation with a look before they turned back to the frog “We.. don’t really know who or what that is, but we’re willing to help, if you’d lead the way?"
Sparrow spoke up before nodding at Hyper who went and before they departed leaned into the temporary infirmary where Freya was currently doting over some fabrics and thread

”Hello dear, need something?” The seamstress spoke up, as she turned accidentally knocking over a bit of thread in her haste

“Freya, we’re gonna be out for a bit, so until we get back, if you need anything ask Fate, alright?”
