Biography
The first Aether to be taken in by the clan. The only dragon to be taken in as an adult. Dubbed the "clan babysitter" and a general advisor to Amouranth and Flytrap.
Boreas grew up in a lot of different places. His first home was a clan from the Nature flight, but as a hatchling he got tossed from clan to clan quite often. He saw a lot of the land, though his time in each area was brief. In one particular clan, he was given a clutch of eggs with another Aether dragon, and was promptly kicked out. He never did see any of those hatchlings ever again.
Throughout his time traveling the land, he remained nameless. He was just a tool for other clans to use as they saw fit, and then toss him out when he was no longer of use. This changed one day, when he met Amouranth and Flytrap.
Amouranth introduced herself as the leader of the Clan of Protectors, a clan with the goal of protecting lost dragons. Excited at the chance to get a real life, he joined. He even got to get a name- he named himself Boreas. Though, the excitement quickly wore away as he experienced argument after argument. As understandable as it was that two freshly created dragons with zero life experience wouldn't have the best conflict resolution skills, it got tiring really quickly. Getting the two to calm down for just a moment was like handling rowdy hatchlings- and that's where he got the idea from.
He set out to get a hatchling for the clan to raise. Kill two birds with one stone- get Amouranth and Flytrap to focus on something other than each other and solve the issue of how the clan fulfills its goal. He returned with two Pearlcatcher hatchlings, which he named Hive and River.
The plan ended up being a huge success. Arguments started to die down as they focused on caring for the hatchlings. A bonus effect he hadn't even considered was the fact they looked to him for guidance- of course the freshly created dragons with zero life experience wouldn't know how to raise a hatchling. With the introduction of Breeze, the third hatchling, things ran smoother than they had before.
It shouldn't been a surprise that they decided to have hatchlings together. And it definitely shouldn't have been surprising that he found himself in a hatchling caretaker role- he was, after all, the most experienced at the job.
