Biography
Berry Bradley
When Morningstar's original dentist left the clan to pursue a different life, an applicant for the vacancy came to the gate within a suspiciously small frame of time. With a red laboratory cloak pulled tight up to his chin to ward off the blistering cold and coyly unnerving eyes, he had quite a unique aura for a dentist. The eerie newcomer lowered his claw enough to show a sinister smile, and shuffled his papers through the gate for Dalmatian's review.
Within a short time, he was welcomed inside for chai and an interview with the Morningstar medical team (currently consisting of one dragon). Medic's reputation was greater within evil scientist circles than among credentialed medical professionals, but this did not seem to deter the Tundra in the slightest. After many an impassioned recounting of unspeakable yet marvelous experimental strides, and many a laugh shared over laboratory days gone awry, it became clear that the two shared the ability and desire to push the boundaries of medical science.
Setting up shop in an adjacent wing of the Morningstar Medical Facility, Berry Bradley provides expert care for the dragons of Mornignstar in whatever time remains around his true full-time calling as the assistant to some of Medic's more experimental operations. Feigned or no, his credentials do translate to genuine expertise in the realm of dentistry, and when he is providing care, he educates each dragon on the importance of taking care of one of their most important and deadly assets. Free toothbrushes are provided (plus one tube of either ember, meat, or leaf-flavored toothpaste).
He and Medic planned and executed the creation of a more robust Medical Laboratory, complete with potential roles for a very special few colleagues to be recruited some distant day. In the interim, the two are content scheming and experimenting within their realms of expertise. Though his arrival is among the most recent and he holds his personal feelings closer than most, one cannot help but notice his professional kinship with Medic may become something more..
In the first breakthrough on an intense joint-effort project with Medic, Racecar Robbie was hatched with specially engineered speed serums and stat-enhancement extractions wrought of less fortunate test subjects. Ever since the Pearlcatcher nobility had conferred additional funding to the medical wing, Bradley and Medic have been able to take on more ambitious projects, and without the haze of morality to stifle the acute vision of progress, the two frequently spend late hours together in the lab. The cackling and clinking of test tubes can be heard from the exterior walls, but none in the clan dare peek inside.
