Perhaps not a scientist in the way you'd expect, Charblot's experiments are pretty out there, ranging from simple transformation to creating entire dragons out of cauldrons using only shed scales. Some say he's even revived the dead. But those are just rumors, right..?
He works alongside his assistant, Inkcoal.

The two work together conducting scientific experiments. Charblot is the more ethical of the two, and sees science as an outlet for creativity. A bit too empathetic for Inkcoal and often frustrates her when trying to talk her out of unethical experiments.

Algernon is distinctly not an assistant to Charblot, only to Inkcoal. Charblot finds it weird. Algernon only knows about Charblot from what Inkcoal has told them.
