The great queen of the Ridgeshadow Ruins, chosen to lead the shadow clans south to the land of men, and attain freedom from under their bigger and stronger sister clans of the Lightweaver. She was heralded as a hero when she successfully established a settlement, not knowing at the time that the light dragons had taken over a larger ruin just over the river.
Chainbreaker was known to be a kind, quiet, passionate ruler with a deep love for the arts. Her courts were often alive with music, poetry and dance. In her early days she would daily walk among her people, and ensured that they would want for nothing.

Though her subjects thought no less of her for it, it was no secret that Chainbreaker often suffered from maladies of both the physical and psychological nature. For most of her life, she was rarely seen outside the company of her trusted court physician.
