THE LEADER
Member of the High Council

An orphan himself, Rodran decided to start his own clan in hopes of finally having a huge family to be part of. Rozma quickly joined him of her own accord, and the two decided to build a fledgling colony together. They named it Realgar after the beautiful and mysterious alchemical stone, and declared that it would be a safe haven for all dragons, no matter the breed, color, size, or age. Peaceful, calm and generally happy at all times, Rodran is an affable leader, if a bit lazy when it comes to the politics of it all. He lets Rozma do the brunt of the social work, but is always there to step in if he is needed. He is significantly more level-headed and collected than his emotional mate. He has never really seen himself as a "King", he just wants lots of baby dragons to raise and the hustle and bustle of a huge clan that he never had as a child. He is a lover, not a fighter, but can hold his own when necessary. And of course he would defend his clanmates and his beloved Rozma to the death if need be.

Currently the father of fifty children and counting (with only one remaining in the clan), Rodran's goal is to create a family line that echoes through the ages, and to raise dragons that will change the destiny of Sornieth. That, and he just loves having hatchlings around. Lately, their children have been mostly Tundras which seems to irritate Rozma slightly, but she won't let it show. He just knows her well enough to see the disappointment in her eyes when another furball pops out of their latest clutch of eggs. She longs for a permanent guardian child to stay with the clan, but so far it is not to be. Most of their children eventually move on to serve the Lightweaver or to join other clans.

Although his heart is pure Arcane, through and through, Rodran made the decision to move Realgar to the keeping of the Lightweaver for their own interests in using Dominance to expand the clan. They also simply needed more lair space as their ranks have steadily begun to grow. He is not saying whether they will ever return to the Starfall Wastes... it remains to be seen. For now they have enjoyed making their home on a sunny hilltop quite near the coast, about a mile or so from the Beacon. The resources are plentiful, the sun gives them strength and positivity and the location is elevated and therefore easy to defend. Only the harpy clans living in the forests at the base of their hill have ever given them trouble, and they have a tentative truce in place now.
