Lerne is a smallish town within the Dreamworld of Nyarlathotep, entered through the Magnus Coffee shop's cleaning closet or by dreaming. Many things go awry here; a member of the Babylon Guardians has gone missing and suddenly appears in Lerne, the Ashford family has their claws full with hydras and the Outer Gods are trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

Kidnapped as a kit and brought to the underground town of Lerne, P’s purpose ever since he could remember was to find his parents. Along the way, however, he needs to be cunning and escape the hydras of Lerne. But what if the hydras could be… controlled? And maybe that cute and mysterious lady who seems to know so much more than she lets on can be of assistance?
