Clan leader - Progen - Originally Mirror

NightImp has led the clan since she broke away from her home clan and ran away with Ysayam (now Ganymede) - she struck out on her own just days before the Nocturnes first appeared and when they swarmed over the area she was hiding in she originally thought her young family was doomed. Luckily the group that found her were looking for a place to settle and they quickly began to work together to build a safe lair. Even though she was young they recognized her strength and respected her as leader.

Just after midnight on January 1, 2017 Nightimp went to her nest feeling satisfied that her lair was safe and thriving - but also feeling just a little strange. She assumed it was the odd concoction Rubii had offered her to celebrate the new year. As she went to settle in bed she noticed a scroll sitting on her favourite blanket. Opening it, she read through the apparent gibberish before tossing it aside with a laugh - wondering which of the hatchlings was fooling around again.

Waking up in the morning feeling even more strange she staggered to the wash area wondering if she needed to see the healer or if it was just a really strange hangover - she didn't think she had had that much to drink!!

One quick glance in the looking glass had her letting out an ear-piercing screech! The face looking back at her was familiar and yet not!! It was a Nocturne staring back at her!!!!

Rushing out into the great hall she was not overly surprised to find a large group already waiting for her.

AmethystInk, her second in command, stepped forward with a hesitant smile. She explained they had all discussed this and felt the one way to show their love and deep respect for Nightimp as their leader was to find a way to turn her into a Nocturne - to make her more like them but also to make her appearance more in line with her true self.

She went on to say this is something they had been planning for years but it had taken them this long to find the magic scroll they needed to make it work.

Rubii then stepped forward, looking a little nervous. She explained the drink from the night before had been intended to help Nightimp sleep and to ease the transition from Mirror to Nocturne.

Glancing at Nightimp's face and body she went on to say that the potion MAY have had some unintended consequences. Oops??

Nightimp looked closer at her claws and glanced down at her hide - realizing she was now covered in faintly glowing, golden runes instead of the subtle smoke pattern she was used to.

"Well," she exclaimed. "This is certainly a New Years Day I will never forget. Give me some time to think this over before I decide whether I want to thank you or punish you!!"

With that she stepped outside and took off into the air to test out her new wings.
