Hello, Vaelin is a Leviathan Leveler, Levi Leveler for short.
The above address will help you know how to use Vaelin effectively in the Kelp Beds to raise two dragons at a time. Usually I am able to get two dragons to a level 6, and sometimes, if I'm REALLY lucky, to a 7 or an 8.
You want to scroll down to the pages where Mohenjo talks about the First and Second Battles and the Enemy Attack order. Also, get to know your mage vs. melee opponents. If your battle opens up with a bunch of melee dragons, keep refreshing (hit the Coliseum button to get a new start) until you get a line up with more mages or less-powerful melee opponents. After playing around with it, you'll get to know how much more powerful the brown dolphin is than the brown snake creature, etc.
Most of the time I use Vaelin to level two dragons to a level 6 or 7 and then I switch over to a Mire Flyer to finish them off to a level 8 or 9.
I have two Mire Flyers in my dragon stable, Nichta (who is Arcane) and Alastor (who is Ice). I'd be happy to send you a Mire Flyer after you've leveled up your target number of dragons to a 5 or 6. Then the Mire Flyer can finish them off. (That's assuming you want to get them to a higher level.)
That's the fastest way for me to level up dragons that I plan on exalting for a push or conquest battle.
If you are trying to raise your first (second or third) pair of level 25's as keepers for your lair, here's my best advice: Use a Levi Leveler to get them to a 6 or 7, switch over to a Mire Flyer and have that dragon get them to a level 9 or 10, then switch to a pair of Kelp Beds levelers to continue raising one at a time until they get to a level 23.
Once the dragons you're trying to get to level 25 get into the level 23 and 24 range, I've had them work with one of my Kelp Bed levelers. That's with them being stated and stoned so they can assist the KB leveler in battle. With luck you can get the two of them over the finish line at the same time.
Of course, this strategy reflects the dragons I have and what is comfortable and familiar for me. There are many other builds out there...and lots of battle styles. The key is to have fun and continue learning!
Enjoy the Coli!

P.S. Vaelin is one of my foundational dragons and he's a sweetie - when he's not wreaking utter destruction in the KB! Please give him something to wear or a familiar to keep him company while he's with you.
