Aelira
Matriarch | Clan Founder
Aelira is the matriarch of the clan, mothering the younger dragons and making sure everyone is happy and healthy. She is more of a scholar than a fighter, preferring to study the history of the realms and write about the clan's members. She is aided in her studies by Kyra, the clan's historian.
Her approach to leadership is very hands-off; she only intervenes when she believes the situation demands it (such as when Blossom and Gambit take their pranks on the hatchlings a little too far). She is fast friends with Glacier, the matriarch of the Sniper Clan in Wispwillow Grove. The two regularly correspond with each other, sending updates about their clan members and happenings within the lair.
Although she is mated to Abyss, Aelira is the sole leader of the Riptide Clan. She frequently takes the advice of others and always includes the opinion of the whole clan in her decisions. Kyra is her most trusted advisor.
