Amygdala

A hunter that was embraced by the Shade, and devoted her life to making it pay for the tragedy it inflicted upon her beloved.

The Shade and its twisted servants are mighty and cannot be slain by normal means, but Amygdala never uses more than her cleaver and quillrunner to hunt. Her cleaver relies on its weight and bloodletting teeth to tear and rend her foes. It is not altogether sharp after years upon years of use, and requires much more force in its swing to cut than a normal blade would.


Warrior's Way 2023 lore addition:
Amygdala's purpose in the Warrior's Way competition was simple: hone her skills. For the first few days she did just that, train nonstop. She did not sleep nor take breaks, simply challenging, accepting fights, or striking straw dolls. After resting from her training, she decided to take a look at the wares of the metal and magic workers who set up shop for the event. She found little of interest, but did meet Rhonas, another who was harmed by the Shade.
