Thanh leads his clan alongside his mate, Sinikka, who has been his dear friend and love since they were young. He is a warm and gentle soul; clan members young and old enjoy sitting down with him in conversation. He whittles the wooden feathers shed from his Wildwood Owl into pens and styli for writing.

Born in the Light Domain, Thanh had always been interested in the mysteries the land holds. After teaching himself how to make accurately measured drawings, he traveled to the Hewn City to study its anomalies. He began working on a collection of works that served as a record of his findings. On one particular evening, while he was making a drawing of an odd formation of pillars, a small creature approached him. It was another dragon! who had never heard of the Hewn City before. Her name was Sinikka, and since she was new to the area, asked to stay with him and help him with his work. Thanh was excited to meet another dragon who was enthusiastic about knowledge and learning, so he agreed. Together they worked on their project, eventually agreeing that they wanted to stay in the Hewn City and start a family together.
