Aethelred

Aethelred is incredibly smart and loyal. When he and Eadgyth began inviting others to their small clan, no one doubted he would make a responsible and kind leader. The construction of their clan was slow, but steady, as they only welcomed those who could offer service. Other clans thought this unkind of them, but Aethelred never sent the injured or useless away empty handed. Aethelred and Eadgyth had five children together during this time. The second oldest, Phoebe, betrayed her parents and clan and killed her father and siblings. She left the clan immediately after, badly injured from the fight with her mother.

Aethelred despaired in his mortal prison, caught somewhere between exaltation and final death. A year passed there, while only 3 months passed for his living clan. There he learned of necromagick. After studying for 12 exalt-years, he mishappenly resurrected himself. He reconstructed his body into a new appearance and went searching for his clan.
