Marinette is the matron of the clan, and unlike Rifat there's nothing vague about her title, as she handles most of the day-to-day decisions and organizes everything concerning exalts with a religious zeal.

Her official primary duty in the clan is as hoard guard, a task she takes very seriously. She was initially very strongly against accepting ridgebacks into the clan because of their culture of "borrowing", but after witnessing the superior lair-expanding skills of a ridgeback she has conceded that the clan may host one permanent member of ridgeback breed as long as she wont see him within an imperial's length of the hoard.

The clan's first two guardian warriors, Misu and Platino once came to the conclusion that Marinette is actually a guardian born in the body of a tundra, and that the hoard is her de facto charge. After several months of introspection and careful consideration a breed change scroll was added to the clan budget.

Marinette is devoted to all the deities, and supports all the deities, but she has a particularly soft spot for Icewarden and is immensely pleased to have several grandchildren and great grandchildren exalted to His service.
