Clan leader and scavenger.



Rifat is the instigator of the clan and thus by default some kind of leader. His most prominent role is as scavenger though, and he'll spend considerable time combing through the beach debris and dragging home junk. He once found a Water egg, from which Nightfire hatched.

Early on in his career as sort-of clan leader he nearly drowned - a most unsuitable end for a Water dragon. Large fluttery wings simply don't go well with strong currents. Luckily Marinette was nearby and could fish him up before he was dragged so far out that Marinette's fur would become a death trap as well. Since then they've been staying in the shallows, practising their Water magic.

When Pixie joined them, Rifat was ecstatic to have a colour-twin, even if she couldn't understand him. Rifat is nothing if not communicative though, and he quickly set up a system of intricate charades, an impromptu sign language and eventually flash cards in order to to talk with the clan members that doesn't speak fae. In the interim, Marinette had to do a lot of translations.
