ABOUT
The ruler of Blackhaven Elkmire Village, known as Mortem or better known as Magnificent Champion Of Elkmire. He's sincere, intelligent, loyal and perhaps a little too impatient. But what'd you expect from somebody with his position. Of course he's also objective, perceptive and humble. The villagers argue that he is the most forgiving ruler you will ever meet. But do not be fooled. Mortem is not one to be walked on and do not abuse his kindness or mistake it for idiocy. His aggression and monstrous nature will come alive once again if you happen to cross him, and you will not stand a chance. For even the nicest ones can turn into absolute monsters when they must. He came from little to nothing. A simple shadow filled with too much unused magic, and a hint of ash from a nearby fire. New to the world and everything in it, the baby dragon stumbled around desperately trying to figure out this complete newness. An unknown mother of two found the helpless hatchling struggling and decided to take him into her home. She taught him as much as she possibly could while her other two children were relentless to him. They were what inspired Mortem to be as nice as he could be, and filled him with the hope that he would one day be in a home were nobody was cruel to others. Thus a dream was born. Mortem left the home behind years later, never forgetting his now deceased mother figure and all she had done for him. Though forgiving, he pledged to never forgive his half siblings for their cruelty towards him growing up. He set off on an adventure to find new friends and a possible start on his dream. Shortly after, he met someone who completely changed his life. His name was Samigina. Years and years passed. Mortem and Samigina had managed to gather a medium sized group of followers, and Elkmire was just a skip away from being reality. Mortem, Samigina and their early followers spent years gathering materials and building a beautiful village hidden among the shadows of a rugged volcano. While it might not be modern or fancy looking like some cities, Elkmire is perfect in his eyes and a dream come true. Elkmire is relatively small, filled with old time cottages and cozy homes. The dragons all work together to keep the area nice and peaceful, free from any harm. Many spend their days farming, some even inventing new types of fruits and vegetables that can grow in the darkness and even survive extreme heat. Though primarily apart of the Shadow flight, Blackhaven Elkmire Village welcomes members of any and all flights. The area is not known for being hostile or violent, as they prefer to live in peace in their village. There is no currency in the village; everyone is more than willing to help their friends, family, and neighbors for no charge. Even those that are just passing by are more than welcome to a nice roof over their heads for a few nights and some food for their travels, absolutely no charge. Blackhaven Elkmire Village believes in helping one another as best as you can, not harming. Elkmire is one giant family in most dragon's eyes and they all treat each other as such. Currently, Mortem spends his days helping the locals, especially the newer ones. He makes sure everybody feels welcomed in Elkmire and that they know to come to him if they need any assistance. As a ruler, he must also assign tasks to those who serve to protect and make sure his land is secure for his dragons. In his downtime, he reads books about the worlds history, in the hopes that one day everyone will be as peaceful as he hopes. |
