BIOGRAPHY

Whenever asked about his childhood, he just shrugs. He really doesn't remember much except wandering the Sea of a Thousand Currents, looking for a charge to take care of.

And he found that charge on fateful night, her wings caught on a piece of coral.

He was very excited, to say the least, and he jumped around roaring to the gods how yes, he found her, this was the one! while Delphi was yelling at him to get her out of this mess, for goodness' sake. Eventually, he did, plucking the small fae from the coral as easily as one plucks a grape from a vine.

He's pretty much never left her side, if only to breed with another dragon that caught his eye for just a moment. (Delphi gave her approval for this, as the clan needed more hatchlings.) But his offspring have all left him, to serve the Tidelord or otherwise. But after one of his children ran off after only a day within the clan and with no name, he was devastated and vowed never to breed again in his grief.

Now, he serves as the priest of the clan, donning a few birdskulls that he found here and there. He preaches some on the Tidelord, but really, he preaches on morals. Besides, Pompeii also helps with healing tasks and blessings, as well. He continues his teachings in retirement,

Personality
Pompeii: An ancient Roman town-city in Italy, destroyed by the eruption of the volcano of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, also near the sea.

Pompeii was--and sometimes still is--quite a happy-go-lucky Guardian, to say the least. Though he co-founded the clan, he is most definitely not the boss.

Now, as an older Guardian, he is calmer and more subdued, though he still gets excited about small things. He likes to play with the hatchlings sometimes, coming up with fun new games and also teaching them the basic morals. But he can often be seen staring off into the distance, his eyes unreadable. Some say that the only thing keeping him going is his wife. Others say that even though he untangled her, she was the one that saved him.
