Fyes

A dragon of immense wisdom and patience, Fyes is known as the Patriarch of the clan and a father figure to most. Just like his cuddly Tundra appearance, Fyes is described as a very soft and a 'teddy bear' of a dragon. However, this does not downplay his varying levels of strength and dignity, which could command respect from any in the room. He is widely recognized as the lifelong friend and mate of the Matriarch, Linni, and he cares for everyone in the clan as if they were his own.

As a hatchling, Fyes was often bullied, frequently targeted by hatchlings much larger and more intimidating than him. He harbored a deep fear of being hurt and of failure. However, after befriending the energetic Fae, Linni, he learned to emerge from his shell. Listening to her tales of adventure during their late-night chats both intimidated and enthralled him with the world beyond his home in the Shadow Flight. In his later years, he embarked on a nomadic adventure with Linni to learn about all the flights and their customs. Though initially intimidated by the world around him, he gradually realized there was little to fear. This newfound courage enabled him to confess his heartfelt love to Linni, eventually becoming her mate.

Upon becoming a father to their first clutch during a visit to the Shadow Flight, Fyes quickly embraced his role with love and responsibility. Initially fearing that hatchlings would only add stress to his life, he soon found joy in their adventurous antics. While their other children were rehomed to others, Myrkur, his son, remained to explore the world with them. However, with the addition of Coeus and Jinshi to their travels, Fyes noted how swiftly they were forming a clan. With Linni's agreement, they made the decision to settle down in the Plague Flight along the border of the Arcane Flight.

In the present day, Fyes is often tending to his stressed yet busy mate, ensuring she gets the rest and care she needs to lead the clan to glory. He is seen more frequently than Linni, often handling small clan matters to alleviate some of her workload. When not occupied with responsibilities, he enjoys exploring new hobbies and skills to broaden his horizons, regardless of whether he intends to master them or not.
