It sinks bone deep, rests with her always. She longs to touch the things she studies in the night sky with her own hands. She heard until recently that was even more tantalizingly close than it was now. She wonders how the others lived with themselves each and every day with the secrets of the void so close at hand. One day, perhaps, she will learn all there is, but for now she simply sits and watches the stars.
