History
— Born of the Light —

Desertsong, along with his brother, Goldenhour, have been with the clan since they were children. Found by Isaye on the border between The Tangled Woods and the Sunbeam Ruins, Desertsong and Goldenhour were raised in the kitchen along the other so-called 'Children of Chaos'. When they were grown, they decided that the thing they would protect would be the clan itself: specifically, the front door. However, they often argue over who actually has guardianship of the door when no visitors can hear them. They usually come to an agreement that Desertsong has the right door, and Goldenhour has the left, but this agreement can become strained when other tensions arise.
Goldenhour has pride in his position guarding the door, but he doesn't like the mantle of lies he's taken up. Instead of talking to Desertsong or one of the Council of Chaos to change his roll, though, he's taken to being short and impatient with visitors and Desertsong's usual spiel.
