Biography

Inocencia Inocencia was born into a long line of metalworkers and shapers in The Ashfall Waste, so it came as a big surprise when she nearly burnt down her own lair trying (and failing) to make a screw. So she searched throughout her fiery home flight for a job she could do. She found it in detective work. She spent some time working for an agency, where she learned skills about observation and persuasion, but ultimately found that working in an organisation just for money was unfulfilling, and she decided to pursue another career, bounty hunting. She found this much more thrilling, and enjoyed hunting down dragons. She grew in strength and combat ability, and coupled with the skills she learned in her detective days, made her a force to be reckoned with in the fire flight. It went well until another bounty hunting force moved into the area and took more and more of the jobs in the area, forcing her to for the first time, leave The Ashfall Waste and take on contracts that lead to other flights' territories. Again, she took on contracts and did well, until a contract was placed on the leader of the bounty hunters that had forced her out of her original flight. She managed to capture him but didn't make it out of sight of their hideout before the rest of the force found her, forcing her to flee empty handed. She decided she needed to fly as far away as possible, somewhere the fire bounty force would not go to, so she decided to take on a contract to find a thief that had fled to the Southern Icefields, and a contract to re-capture a servant that had fled there as well. As she flew after her new targets she was ambushed above the Windswept Plateau by the bounty hunting force. She fought off a few of them, but as their numbers grew she found that the fight was futile, so she fled. Bruised and battered she arrived in the Southern Icefields, where the wildlife and dragons there were very unhelpful, offering her no help in finding her bounties. Without money or food she began to starve. Scavengers and hostile wildlife began to descend on her, but she was determined to fight till her last breath. The last of her strength lasted a lot longer than what anyone expected, and everyone involved was surprised, the wildlife, herself, and the onlooking Mirror included. This dragon disappeared for a while, to reappear with a few others beside her just as Inocencia's last strength left her, and she passed out. She awoke to the smell of herbs. A large guardian named Dresden told her all about how Airtongue saw her fighting and got some of the dragons from their lair to rescue her. She currently puts her observation, persuasion and strength to good use as head of security in the lair, making sure everyone is where they should be when they should be. No one really knows if she knows who the runaway servant and the thief are, but if she does she hasn't made any moves to claim her bounty. She has eight lives left. |
