A lifelong insectivore (yes, she refuses to eat meat), Chiquita has grown tired of the little pink Hardshells and Stardust Mites that are plentiful in her home in the Starfall Isles. "I'll find the tastiest insect in all of Sornieth!" she announced to her mother and father before setting off on her journey with her trusty spoon and peculiar tastebuds.

Uh-oh, looks like this fruity noodle wandered a little too far from her home lair (Fateful, 672531), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread. Thank you! Feel free to breed her! She'd love to have some wonderful romances on her journey.

"What does it take to get some good freakin' food around here?" Chiquita picked at her plate of roasted Stardust Mites. She was so tired of eating the same things all the time.

"Are you complaining about my cooking?!" her mother asked her for the millionth time. She was beyond exasperation at this point and didn't really expect an answer, but felt it was her duty to remind Chiquita that she needed to show some respect. "You don't know how good you have it here. There are places in the world where there aren't so many insects readily available for the picking."

Chiquita didn't reply. An idea had struck her and her mind was already spinning off in wild directions, making plans. A few days later, she announced to her family that she was Going On A Journey.

"I'll be like a traveling food critic," she said with more than just a hint of self-satisfaction and overconfidence. "I'll go out and search for all the yummiest foods in Sornieth—all insect-based, of course. There must be some great dragon chefs out there with scrumptious recipes."

Her mother and father looked at each other and sighed. Chiquita had always had a mind of her own and on the rare times she'd actually put it to use on something, there was no way anyone could stop her.

About an hour after Chiquita crossed the threshold of her home and entered the unknown wild lands beyond, she spotted a lone orange light flittering about. In a quick flash, she stuck out her tongue to catch the flying creature and swallowed it down whole.

"Hmm.. not bad," she said. The insect, whatever it was—she didn't really get a good look—was sweet and a little salty. "7/10, would eat it again. But I bet there's better out there."
