Kerikon
Founder & Leader of the Advancement Guild

Since he was a hatchling, Kerikon has always loved the hustle and bustle of big cities. The bright lights, the constant hum of generators, it was always so thrilling to him. But life in the cities of the Shifting Expanse could be tough. Although many hungry nights were spent in those alleys, Kerikon had a dream to achieve. He would build a new city, one that everyone would be proud to live in.
With that, he left the Shifting Expanse forever and set out on a new path. Because of the dense jungle, most realtors avoided the Viridian Labyrinth. However, Kerikon saw this as prime untouched land waiting to be molded. He acquired a large section of land in the Gladeveins for almost nothing compared to the city prices. Quickly after that, many others began to see his work as an opportunity as well and offered their help. Thus the Advancement Guild was born. Unlike those striving towards the future, the little village nearby (nothing more than a few ramshackle huts) was in open opposition to Kerikon's ideas. Rather than embrace a modern lifestyle, those savages wanted to stay in the past. But why? he thought. Why would they choose to live like beasts when I can offer them the true joys of life? What more is there? The leader of this forest tribe was in opposition most of all. Negiri, an ancient relic by today's standards, roared at him, "I don't care what you do. Just keep it away from my village and away from my kids! With good luck, I won't even have to see you at all." How could she blatantly overlook everything that I've worked towards?! ...Whatever. She's just stuck in the past. I'll build a great civilization, and someday Negiri will finally see the good that I've done for this slum.
