Geist

Like his father Buckeye Geist has the 'Ghost' gene. You'd think it would be genetic as it entails but alas that is not the case. It is etched into your DNA when a near death experience happens. For Buckeye it much like one of the many injuries or scars underneath his bandages, something of pride, a story that he can tell of survival that will stay within the clan for centuries to come. For Geist it wasn't a fight on the battle field. The memory for him is fuzzy and no one knows what really happened. He had been alone and found alone 'Ghost' appearing on his body even brighter than it had on his father. This meant he had survived something that was truly hard to, it was a miracle he's even alive now, that he can still reach into the past to find rhythms that have long been forgotten. All that is known is in that moment when he was on death's door he had used the power that only Cyclers have. From whatever time period he reached into he refuses to find a rhythm from ever again. Because of this event he is also much younger than his fellow Cyclers.

It is assumed that whatever rhythm he had found had been one that reflected the dire moment that he was in. one of death and sorrow, somber in nature with just a tinge of hope you could hardly find it within it all. Many have speculated that he had heard what those who are moving onto the afterlife hear in their last moments but his. . . was more of a warning.
