The Awakening was a strange thing. Once she wasn't and then, suddenly, she was.
Yax...
The mist seemed to whisper, as it hung heavy on dank air. Air smelling of home and magic.
Yax...
Before her glorious God, she saw herself and knew herself to be the first of a new Clan in the Shadows.
Yax!
And thus she knew herself as such.
Yax would bring the shadows to all corners of the world. She would bear offspring who would rock the very balance of this world, highly coveted, till all other flights were as she once was: Only whispers in the mist.
This the guardian swore. In this she would not fail.
