Pythia

Pythia is an oracle. As a young dragon, a long time ago, she was meant to be sacrificed; thrown into the acidic pit of the Wyrmwound, as her old clan believed it would empower the Plaguebringer and bring them good luck. The Plaguebringer, feeling bad for this hatchling that was tossed into the pool of acid for no good reason, blessed Pythia with a new chance at life, though it came at the cost of one of her senses.

While mute, she communicates through sign language or writing, and is said to have direct contact with the Plaguebringer.

Usually, Pythia sits by a big sinkhole, which is filled to the brim with poisonous sludge. She lets herself be swathed the fumes, as they "bring her closer to the Plaguebringer". She compares it to how certain herb scents have a calming effect; the toxic fumes seem to cause a similar reaction in her.

She keeps to herself most of the time, not communicating with the others much outside of her oracle duties. When she does speak to other clan members though, she's very cryptic most of the time but kind regardless.
