Beholder

The Beholder has no known name. He has taken on the cave on the outskirts of the clan as his charge, but nobody knows what exactly could lie beyond the mouth of the cave he guards - and he's determined to keep it that way, if his determination to keep any and all dragons away at any cost is any indication. He doesn't interact with any members of the clan unless they approach him, and even then he remains curt and refuses to speak for long. He's chosen to remain alone at the mouth of his cave, and any and all attempts to speak with him prove futile.

Many who try to speak with him will often hear about "them", but who "they" are is still unknown. He refuses to divulge any more details no matter how the subject is broached. All that can be discerned is that whoever "they" are, they're deep within the cave, meaning the Beholder's charge is not, in fact, the cave itself, but instead whoever - or whatever - may lie within.
