______A slick sort of dragon, Vingetun was, for most of his life, one to be avoided. Not that he's unpleasant or anything, rather that other dragons did not take kindly to his slithery ways and silky voice. Rather, they often felt they were being played for fools around him, a part of some larger scheme. He had that aura about him, of one that planned most thoroughly and prepared, ready to manipulate any unfortunate soul that stepped foot in his trap. In actuality, Vingetun very rarely planned anything to this degree, and the vibe he held around him was simply that. A vibe. Unfortunately for him and any otherwise potential friend around him, this was just sort of how he always had been, likely due to his uprising around equally manipulative but ultimately well-treating parents. No, Vingetun usually meant well, but it was more difficult to explain that to those that prematurely decided who you were without giving you much of a chance to prove otherwise.

______It was due to this mistreatment that Vingetun ultimately decided to travel, and travel he did. That is, until he made his way to the Snowstorm Haven as a means for what the name of the clan suggested - a place to rest during a spectacular but normal snowstorm. It is within the walls of the Inn that he met Ace, a Banescale that took residence beneath the building to run a slightly illegal gaming room. Gambling, he came to learn, was something that leant well to his general disposition, and Vingetun happened to do quite well during his admittedly longer-than-planned stay. So much so, he came to find, that he managed to catch the attention of Ace, who came forward to him with a preposition. He had no primary home, not anymore, so why not stay here? His way with cards and dice mesmerized Ace, and they were in dire need of another to run the place as it continued to grow in size.

______Vingetun accepted, of course, because it was the only time that anyone had ever expressed an interest in him, and, more simply, he was curious to how it would pan out. Well, time would pass and Ace would get to know Vingetun quite well, more than anyone had ever bothered to get to know him. Chats over drinks would turn to heartfelt speeches, gentle touches on a shoulder to an embrace longer than necessary. It wasn't long before the two were simply inseparable, exchanging gazes just as smoothly as a shuffling of cards. It seemed, at last, that Vingetun had found where he belonged.
