.. Thanen is an altruistic and fun-loving Fae. She loves to socialize, and will chat anyone's ear off, even if she can be somewhat shy. Idealistic and optimistic, she strives to give her clan the best possible life. Focused on peace and diplomacy, she is a gentle leader; when the clan becomes chaotic, her mate, Thoran, usually takes over, using a firm hand with the members of Humming Hearts. However, any dragon would be foolish to undermine Thanen. Despite her tiny size, she has a fierce attitude. When pushed far enough, her passion will erupt, and any dragon who failed to take her seriously before will receive a harsh motherly scolding.

Typically, she resides on the Radiant Plateau, watching from the crumbling Ancient Belltower. If she allows you into her secluded living quarters, you will find that the room is rather untidy; with a tall ceiling, paintings and scribbles line the walls. Scrolls, pillows, and trinkets scattered across the stone floor, it is difficult to understand how she manages to saunter around so easily. Pegs line the cracked stone walls so that she can climb up the belltower, and sunlight trickles in through the elegant stained glass windows.

When Thanen was brought to the quaint island, bathed in sunlight and tickled by seaspray, she could only see light, streaming down through the ancient ruins, illuminating her scales. It was an intense, blinding light, but gentle, as well; its warmth embraced her, comforting the frail hatchling. as she stumbled, dazed, she began to listen. The sea's powerful waves crashed on the mountainside, sending a flurry of spray towards the crumbling beacon, staining the cliff's edge with droplets. Dragonflies buzzed, chasing each other in circles, their colorful scales gleaming under the sunlight. Her fellow acolights greeted her, taking her under their wings.

In the Sunbeam Ruins, Thanen's tiny cranium was packed with information about history and the world's lore. She quickly learned the ways of an acolight, and reveled in the knowledge she obtained. Despite her vast expense of information, her peers often teased her endearlingly for being so ditzy and airheaded. Appearing naive and childish, the other dragons did not see much potential in her. She knew what she was destined for, though.

So, at the break of dawn, as hues of strawberry and orange flushed the sky, she visited the towering Beacon of the Radiant Eye. Pebbles trickled down as she climbed the crumbling structure, and as she reached the top, she began to watch the rising sun. She took a deep breah in, shutting her gleaming eyes. Scrolls of parchment protruded from her satchel, strange glass bulbs of light clinking at her waist. In her hands, a small, leather-bound journal, the pages worn. Opening her eyes, she leapt from the tower, taking flight over the sea, the sun peeking over the horizon as small waves began to form. As tears filled her eyes, a crisp breeze biting at her wingtips, perhaps it was just her imagination, but.. Thanen thought she heard the Lightweaver's voice, in that instance. And she grinned, shining before the rising sun.
