Neonhum

Much like Chime and Ripp, Neonhum has an aloof, thoughtful air around song that seems to be par for the course when it comes to a member of the Skald subspecies. His head is always up in the clouds, which are tinted with rainbow colors that glow with a bright neon haze. His voice is low, soft, his words brief and gentle, but there's always something mournful about his tone that the dragons within the clan find difficult to pin down. Longing is perhaps one of the better words one could use to describe it.

Neonhum, despite being an Imperial, always tends to make songself small when other dragons are in the room. His black tail curls up around his front talons as he presses his wings against the wall and tucks songself into the corner. He hums and sings quietly a simple repetitive melody filled with vague memories of times before that leaves all who listen with an alien feeling of immense, mysterious nostalgia. To some the words he sings are nonsensical and hardly worth hearing. But there are those who feel a vague connection to the scenes Neonhum muses about...even if they may never be able to quite articulate why.

"Rainy, shimmering roads...eyes glazed in the neon glare...the way is marked by artificial palms...the stench of smoke and motor oil...long forgotten boulevards...late night broadcasts...ads on the radio...streetlamps and fancy cars...there's nobody here... "
