Precious was born in an ancient lair hidden within the Murkbarrow Close. Her parents were Labonite and Labonita, a Water Snapper and an Ice Snapper.

From an early age, Precious knew that she wanted to be an star. Living in the shadows just wasn't her style... she wanted to shine and sparkle like the diamond she knew she was. She moved to the Arcane Isles mostly because of the pink chalcedony. She also heard that the Arcane dragons were really interested in stars, though I think she sort of missed the point.

Anyhow, she took Sornieth by storm when she began to appear in everything from operas to toothpaste advertisements (her scales aren't the only things that sparkle). It wasn't long before Precious caught the eye of the wealthy prospector and philanthropist, Lord Claymore Igneous Shale.

A connoisseur of anything and everything that glitters, Clay was smitten immediately by the buxom belle, and immediately set out to woo her with all the means at his disposal, which by now encompasses a very large amount of wealth. Precious took one look at the huge diamond ring he offered her on their first date, and she has never looked back.
