Creek loves to swim.

Sometimes, she'll let herself sink down to the bottom of a river and close her eyes, stilling her movements so that she slips briefly into statuehood. She likes the way the water-plants tickle, and how after a while some bolder fish come up to investigate.

She especially likes how, if she tries to open her eyes without actually moving, she can see the ghosts in the water. They have all kinds of things to say to her, and no two are the same.
