History
Born to The Stricken a warring plague clan. They were schooled in the arts of warfare but also more unusually a dual respect for the Plaguebringer and the Gladekeeper. Socrates' true talent is his mind but he is a surprisingly hearty warrior with a strong competitive spirit.
Her parents hatched their nest while on an expedition to the Star fall Isles, he would trail the scholars around everywhere and soon began to debate them on their own specialisms. What's more he was often actually right. The lad was a prodigy and became the darling of a number of the great minds of the star fall isles before the family returned home.
From the wastes he began long correspondences with specialists around Sorineth trouble shooting their theories and keeping up with the latest research. He is a true polymath and can turn his formidable mind to literature as easily as physics. He is even quite personable. However his talent is outshone by his inability to organise himself. He responds to letter chains years late, he loses papers regularly down the side of his bed, he will sometimes forget to eat for weeks, and will go on 'quick walks' that go on for months. This is one of the reasons he has not come to dominate any academic field despite his brilliance and though academics admire his mind and value his input non will vouch for him as a professor or student.
He has recently wandered off from his birth clan- who knows where he'll end up?
