Gavien

Gavien; Head Guard- the main protector of the Sanctum. His appearance was violent and sudden- a stumbling young dragon driven from his first home in the Everbloom Gardens by warring clans. Falling into Silvered Duskbane territory, now permanently blind in one eye with acid burns spanning her face, Carly reluctantly advocated for healing Gavien before releasing her.

Upon waking, Gavien realized her life would never be the same. His home was gone. His small, inconsequential clan of nomadic florists was destroyed. He was a weak, frail beast with no family or hope. The only thing that drove Gavien forward was repayment. Either in the from of spilled blood of the pathetic cowards who slayed her kin- or the protection of the healers who kept her safe even though she was not theirs.

It took her five seasons to regain the strength he'd originally lost. It took eight more to train his soul into the role of protector; of a loyal attack dog to be wielded by his own mind and the gentle requests of his new homes' leaders.

Now, Gavien organizes all patrols and defenses of his home. It's not the same as her first home. But it's hers to guard. To keep.
