S U M M A R Y 
Everything was on fire. Fire hotter than he had ever felt before. The flames were impossible to control, and the ground gave out under his feet with nearly every step. His clanmates around him screamed in agony, begging their dear Flamecaller for her mercy as her land swallowed them whole and burned them alive. All Harpocrates could focus on was escaping her wrath. Fire burned his paws and licked at his soft underbelly, the scrawny dragon managing to scoop up his precious, scorched pearl as he ran for safety. He frantically beat his wings in an effort to fly off, panting and gasping for air as he ran and ran. Eventually, he managed to take off, screaming at the top of his lungs to drown out the horrible sounds of his friends, and his family dying on the burning landscape down below. He flew for days, and didn't stop moving until his body shut down from exhaustion. Plummeting from the sky, down deep into the jungle below, Harpocrates luckily survived the fall, and woke up mostly uninjured in the overgrown shrubs inside what would soon become his new home. After years of intense, and painful labor, and with the help of dragons he met along the way, the Arboretum was turned into the haven it is today. Full of beautiful life, safe and comfortable dens for those living in the clan, and a beautiful view with easy access to the sea. He's proud of what he's made from nothing, and he'll never let it perish like his birth clan had... Hopefully.
