xxxx This Tundra was made as a reflection of my mother. Mami is everything she is: kind, understanding and loving to their own family. At times, there are moments where she's stubborn to do tasks in different ways, but she trusts others enough to follow through and change for the better. She is much more than just being deaf, she is her own person with goofy quirks and imperfect beauty, and I couldn't ask for anything more than that.
Being hard of hearing has its fair share of troubles, with the barrier, it seems nearly impossible to talk with other dragons. However, this Tundra finds other ways to communicate. Literally feeling the rhythm of music vibrate throughout her entire body is soothing to feel; the low humming of a bass string and booming of a drum hits her in a way that not many dragons can understand. While others find beauty in the way a melody flows, Mami finds the motion of music to transcend language.

EDIT 1 :: As of October 2022, my mother was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. Without giving any personal details away, she has started her radiation + chemo treatment on my birthday, November 14th.

EDIT 2 :: As of February 17th, my mother has completed both her radiation and chemotherapy treatment <3
